Collins, Roger J., 58, entered into eternal rest on December 15, 2016. Roger was a loving and caring man, who loved spending time with his family. He was a SCST, Senior Communications System Technician with Alcatel/Lucent. Roger was a lifelong member of CWA Local 3890. He started in February 1987 and retired in December 2015 where he held titles of Job Steward, City Steward and finally, Kentucky State Representative in his 29 year career. Roger was always willing, able and available to help his fellow brothers and sisters in the Local 3890. Also, since he was such an avid UK fan, we must include GO BIG BLUE!
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Julian Timberlake.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 31 years, Judy Collins; sons, Victor (Sharon), Nicholas, and Cody; grandchildren, Jeremiah and Anabella; and his mother, Edith Timberlake.
A Funeral Service will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 2:00pm. Visitation will also be on Monday from 11:00am until the time of service. Entombment will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
