He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 346, the Tomahawk Brotherhood, and Grassy Run. Bear received his BA in Archeology from U of L and was a member of the KY Archeological Society.
Bear is preceded in death by his parents, Rolland and Margot Soule and his brother, Lewis Cloutier Soule.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Patricia “Patty” Carroll Roush Soule, children, Julie Soule Kroger (Sean), R. Paul Soule Jr., Kristin Eileen Soule and 4 grandchildren.
A celebration of Bear’s life will be conducted at noon on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 12-8pm on Monday, June 16, 2014 and after 9am the day of the service.
