Roseanita Boemker Keck

Roseanita was born on October 10, 1918 to George and Rose Boemker. She was a devout Catholic being a life long parishioner of the old St. Vincent De Paul Church, and a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary where she had been a Eucharistic Minister. She retired from the Louisville Free Public Library after 28 years of service.

She was preceded in death by husband Joseph A. Keck, daughter Carol and sister Sara Hiemer.

She is survived by sister Nancy Boemker, children Steve (Kathy), Jim, Charles (Dawn), Susan (Mike Meurer), and her 5 grandchildren David Laso, Christopher Meurer, Natalie (Sgt. James Davis), Caroline, and Matthew Keck.

A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Roseanita’s life will be held at 11 am Tuesday at St. Elizabeth of Hungary, 1020 Burnett Ave. with interment at St. Michael Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-8 pm Monday at Arch L. Heady-Russman & Sons, 1201 E. Oak Street.
