Mr. Wigginton was a retired G.E. employee where he worked for 35 years. He was also a 50 year member of Masonic Lodge #506 and a lifelong member of VFW Post # 8639. Russell was a United States Marine where he served a duty in China and also served during the Korean War where he was a tank commander, sergeant and platoon leader.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years, Jean Logsdon and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, 2:00 pm, at Evergreen Funeral Home with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 11:00 am until the time of the service.
