Born on January 31, 1946, in Louisville to the late George and Lollie Blaser, Sandra grew up with deep roots in the community she loved. She graduated from Atherton High School in 1964 and later earned her degree from Eastern Kentucky University. Guided by a heart for service, Sandra built a meaningful and impactful career as a social worker, dedicating her compassion and strength to supporting individuals and families throughout her community.
Sandra is survived by her devoted partner, Ron Teaford; her brother and sister‑in‑law, Steve and Ann Teaford; her beloved nieces—Beth Teaford (Jake), Erin Willis (Drew), and Emily Teaford (Sean)—and her great‑nieces and great‑nephew, Reese, Finley, and Wyatt, children of Erin and Drew.
She will be remembered for her kindness, her warm and generous spirit, and her adventurous heart. Sandra loved traveling the world, exploring new places, and embracing the beauty of different cultures. Her curiosity and joy for life inspired everyone who knew her, and her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched.
Sandra will be laid to rest next to her parents at Resthaven Memorial Park.
