It has taken me a bit to find the words to describe my friend. Sarah is a big part of the reason that I am able to do my job. Sarah hired me at Donan 5 years ago and taught me everything I know. From the moment I met Sarah, I felt like I had always known her. She just had that personality to make you feel like you always had. Somewhere along the way, we became friends. She made work not feel so much like work. Sarah cared deeply for everyone in our department. When I became a supervisor under Sarah, we often joked that our department was our children. She often spoke of Hailey and how proud she was of her. Hailey will always be the very best of Sarah. Sarah was a fighter to the very end. To Hailey and her family, my deepest and sincerest condolences. Because Sarah was here, the world is a better place.

Sarah and I worked very closely together at Donan for 7 1/2 years, she was my rock I could rely on her for anything I would sit in her office just talking and laughing, she was always there for me in a professional way and personal life. If I had a question believe me she had an answer. I would send her a trouble shooting email she'll reply right away with "on it", Sarah would follow up with a work around process as she worked closely with IT to resolve issues, she would ask me did that work for you I would respond yes, Sarah's reply "sweet", she always helped figure stuff out and quickly to get the team moving forward. I love Sarah I miss her so much, and often thought of her, our last text was Mother's Day she loved sharing stories at work about Hailey or kept me laughing about something funny her mom said. I remember asking her who her date was for the company party she was like my dad I thought it was so sweet just as she was. I will continue to pray to find comfort may God Bless us all

I’ve been having such a hard time putting to words the heartbreak I’ve been feeling over the news of Sarah’s passing. I spoke to her just 10 days prior and still can’t believe it. Her and I started at Donan around the same time, trained together & moved up roles together. We worked very closely over the years and shared many laughs. Like others have said, her smile lit up a room and her kindness showed no bounds. She was such a hard worker and had such a strong spirit. Some of my best memories at Donan were working with her! When I moved out of Kentucky, she was one of the few people I stayed in contact with and I feel so grateful to have been able to call her my friend. I know she fought this battle as hard as she could and I pray that she is at peace. She built such a beautiful life for herself & loved being Hailey’s mom. I will continue to pray for Hailey, Sarah’s parents and loved ones & send my deepest condolences. May God surround you & give you the strength and comfort to get through this difficult time. I know Sarah is looking down from Heaven and will be by your side forever.

So sorry to hear the news of her passing . We will always love Sarah and Haley . My thoughts are with the family and I pray for peace and comfort for the days and weeks ahead .

Sarah was the face of Donan to me long before I came to work here. Her professionalism, knowledge, and drive was so apparent in all my interactions with her. She will be missed at work for certain. I am sure that her impact in her personal life was even greater and my sincere sympathy and prayers go out to all that love her in the days ahead.

I'm am so sorry for the loss of Sarah. I worked with her at Donan and she trained me. She was patient and kind. Her smile lit up the room. My thoughts and prayers go our to her family. Gods peace and grace.

I was working at Donan a few years before Sarah came to join the family. From the very time she started, I could see how strong a driven she was and knew that it would not be long before she would become a leader within the company somewhere, and after a few years she  became the Client Services Manager. She would often talk about the late hours she spent working at home to catch us up during those super high volume times, all the while taking college courses, and raising a child., but she never complained. Sarah was an amazing person and gave her all in everything she did. My heart broke when I heard the news, and miss her deeply. My prayers will be with  her daughter, Hailey and the family while struggle to  keep going without her in their life.

Sarah was such a delight to work with at Donan! I loved it when she joined our conference calls and tried to teach the sales team how to  assist with assignments. I’m pretty sure we created more work than we helped but she never complained.  She has the heart of an angel.
 I pray the love of God enfolds her family during your journey through grief.  Sarah will be greatly missed.

To Sarah's family, my sincere condolences. Sarah was one of a kind and a complete joy to work alongside. She always brought a smile and enthusiasm to work. Although I worked several states away, every time I saw Sarah in Louisville it was like we worked in the same office. She will truly be missed. My prayers go out to her daughter, family, and her.

I remember when Sarah first started working at Donan, I could tell she was a hard worker and serious about her job. It didn't take long for her to move up and become the manager of our client service department. She led us with with kindness and empathy. Such a sweetheart! I'm sure I am speaking for everyone at Donan when I say she was a huge asset to the company and, even more, a wonderful person that we all loved. She will be sorely missed.

I worked with Sarah at Donan and she was my first manager. My deepest sympathy to the Hornback family. Sarah will be greatly missed.
