Scott Downs, 54, of Louisville passed away November 28, 2015 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born on December 3, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky to Russell and Clara Downs. He worked for D.D. Williamson for over 35 years and was of the Catholic faith.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Donna McAnelly.
In addition to his parents, Russell and Clara Downs he is survived by his children, Bryan Downs (Rachel), Michael Downs (Chelsie Lucas), Adam Downs (Dana Bowman) and Anna Downs; grandchildren, Blake, Hayleigh, Noah, Carter, Mattie and Alex; and a brother, Tommy Downs (Sandy).
A service to celebrate his life will be conducted Friday, December 4, 2015 at Noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Thursday at the funeral home. Scott’s final act was to give the gift of life through organ and/or tissue donation.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kids Center or Kosair Charities.
