Sheila F. Cardell

CARDELL, Sheila Farrar, 55, Born September 30th, 1956, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012. She was the second oldest child of Sherman and Doris Farrar. Shelia attended the Louisville Jefferson County Schools and Shawnee High School. She was also a student in the New Albany Indiana School System. Sheila was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, niece and friend. She was one of a kind and irreplaceable.

She leaves to cherish her love and memories, her husband, Earl Cardell; three children, son, Andre Moore, Sr. (Alisha); daughters, Adrianne Moore-Woods (Patrick) and Amy Black (Kenneth, Jr); nine Grandchildren, Renisha Johnson (Cory), Andre Moore II, Alon Moore, Patrick and Patrice Woods, Isaiah Woods, Kenneth Black III, Lauren and Layla Black; one Great-grandchild, Kori Johnson; four Step-children, Earl Cardell Jr. (Kim), Chanca Cardell, Evan Cardell, and Chelsea Cardell; and three Step grandchildren, Destiny, Trinity and Chasity Cardell; sisters, Anita Farrar and Marquita Hall; and two nieces, Angelique Greer (Aaron) and Jamie Wiggins (Brian); Uncle, Robert Jones (Mary); one nephew Kevin Jones (Valerie); and a cousin Derek Jenkins; also a host of other relatives and friends.

A service celebrating the life of Sheila will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home..
