Sherry Ann Perkins

Sherry graduated from Southern High School. She was a member of JROTC and excelled on the Rifle team. Upon graduation, she went to cosmetology school and finished the program. Some years later she began working at Papa John’s as a delivery driver. She worked there for 20 years and made so many great friends who treated her and her children like family. Sherry had a big heart. She always went out of her way to help people if she could. She loved reading, puzzles, animals, video games, arts and crafts, but most of all she loved her children.

Her mother, Loretta Reeves preceded Sherry in death.

Left to cherish her memory is her father, Marvin Reeves; daughter, Holly Burton; son, Cody Reeves; grandchildren, Ava Wood, Xaiver Brown; sister, Lisa Rose; brother, Barry Reeves; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members and friends.

The family requests that contributions in Sherry’s memory be made to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation or the Kentucky Humane Society.

A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Sherry will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 12pm-5pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home in Okolona.
