She was born on March 30, 1934 to the late Louise and Lucian Swetnam.
In addition to her parents, Shirley had three sisters, Dorothy Mills, Mary Brown and Nora Posante.
Shirley is survived by her five children, Andrew Coyle (Cindy), John Coyle (Lillian), Victor Coyle (Juanita), Patricia Drewry (Roger) and Mark Coyle (Marilyn). She had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews all whom she loved dearly.
Shirley retired from Phillip Morris where she had many lifelong friends. She loved to garden and could light up a room with her laughter. She was a Christian and loved her lord and savior.
Visitation will occur on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 11AM – 2PM with a Celebration of Shirley’s life to begin at 2:00PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY.
A private burial for immediate family will follow the service in Resthaven Memorial Park.
