

Stanton L. Helm, 57, of Louisville, passed away on December 5, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 29, 1958 to the late Margaret Haysley and Walter Helm. Stan was a Navy veteran and an employee of the Neil Huffman Dealerships for over 30 years. He was a friend to everyone and loved by all who met him.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Janie Helm and brother, Kenneth Helm.
Cherishing his memory is his loving wife of 29 years, Deborah Wilson Helm; son, James Gillman and daughter-in-law Stacy; daughter, Pamela Gillman; grandsons, Coley and Braden Gillman; granddaughter, Brooklynn Gillman; brothers, John, Richard, and Jimmy Helm, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 am - 2 pm at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Dow Huffman, Riley Huffman, Zelma Gibson and Dennis Brooks for all of their love and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alley Cat Advocates or the Shamrock Foundation.
