Sylvia Jean Combs, "Nanny", 79, of Feathersburg, KY, went to her heavenly home on March 11, 2020. She was born to the late Cora and Walter Cox in 1940. She retired from Louisville Ladder and then returned to work at Wendy's as a hostess. Sylvia loved her family and having them together were the days she prided and lived for. Mrs. Combs touched many peoples lives and was welcoming to everyone. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Carlson Combs, her daughter-in-law, Kym Combs and many siblings.
Left to cherish her memory is her children, Michael Combs, Ronald Combs Sr., Garry Combs; grandchildren, Tarra Jean Snipp (Nathan), Ronald Combs Jr. (Lauren), Katherine Jean Combs (Michael); great- grandchildren, Carly Jean Snipp and Miles Anthony Snipp; sister, Wanda Dillander and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
