He was self employed, doing painting and pressure washing. Terry was a member of the Louisville FOE Aries #2173 and the Ashland, KY, Aries #2329. His love of children was shown in his many rides for the annual Toys for Tots toy drive for those less fortunate . He was an avid Harley rider and he was a strong family man and loyal friend. The grandchildren lovingly called him "Pappaw" and his dogs, Sadie, Lucy, Doodles and Mr. Whoopie called him Dad.
Left cherishing his memory is his loving wife of 43 years, Helen Reynolds Cox; children, Shannon Noble, Lola (Travis) Reader, William (Kina) Cox, Elizabeth and Terri Lynne Cox; siblings, Linda Russ, Angela Brown, Buddy Cox, Charles (Tammy) Cox and Freda Coomer; and 11 grandchildren.
A Life Celebration for Terry will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at noon at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. with a FOE service at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the "Toys for Tots."
