

Walter Adam Franck III, 73, of Louisville passed away May 26, 2014 at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born on July 5, 1940 in Louisville to the late Walter A. Franck II and Ruth Kohler Franck. Walter was a 1959 graduate of Fern Creek High School and was involved in the Air Scouts and Boy Scouts. He was in the Army National Guard for 6 years and was a mason. Walter retired as a journeyman in sheet metal fabrication with local 110 as well as worked in the family business, Franck Bros. Collision Center on special projects. He was a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church for over 40 years.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sons, Andrew M. Franck and Adam L. Franck; and a brother, Thomas L. Franck.
He is survived by his brother, John R. Franck; a son, Arron R. Franck (Jinbae); two grandchildren, Jaron P. Franck and Roxanne J. Franck; his companion, Belva Gardner; a nephew, Justin T. Franck; a niece, Robyn L. Franck; and other loving family members.
A celebration of his life will be conducted Monday, June 2, 2014 at 10 AM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 on Sunday at the funeral home.
