Wanda Probst 84, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021. Wanda retired from First National Bank and then went on to work for 19 year at Churchill Downs where she considered her co-workers as a second family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years Joseph M. Probst and sister Ruby Kubajak.
Wanda leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Michael W. Probst (Libby), grandchildren Nikki Salladay (Adam) and Shaun Probst (Kate), great granddaughters Olivia and June and siblings Buddy Ray Miller and Denise Green. She is also survived by her step-granddaughters Carrie Cox (Jeff) and Kelly Johnson and six step-great grandchildren.
A service to honor the life of Wanda will be held Friday, January 22nd at 10am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home with a private burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday, January 21st from 3-7pm at the funeral home.
