He was a graduate from Eastern Kentucky University with a masters degree in business. After graduation he worked in sales, started his own company and worked for Churchill Downs for forty-two years as a mutual clerk. He was a Mason and a member of the Boaz Masonic Home 850. Bill loved to travel all over the world with his wife and family.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William and Anna Mae Quick, his brother, Dennis Quick.
Bill is survived by his wife, Reita Quick, a step-daughter, Suzanne Leppert and a step-grandson, Elijah Downs, Siblings, Sandy Temple (Donnie) and Carol George and three nephews. He is also survived by his loyal friend Maria, the Siamese cat.
A memorial service to celebrate Bill’s life will be conducted at 2pm on Thursday May 11, 2017 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with inurnment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 11am until service time Thursday.
