He was born April 11, 1934 in Jersey City, NJ, the son of Frank and Eva Lasky. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.
Bill was a member of Highview Baptist Church. He retired from the former Anaconda Aluminum after 45 years of service and was also a United States Army Veteran having served in Korean Conflict.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Barbara “Bobbie” Lasky; his children, Barb and Bill (Elaine) Lasky; grandchildren, Catherine and Emma; brothers, Danny (Lorraine), Raymond (Pat), Tony (Helen) and sister, Diane.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be conducted at 8:00 PM on Friday, August 24, 2012 in the Chapel of Highview Baptist Church, 7711 Fegenbush Lane. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 PM on Friday in the World Café at Highview Baptist Church.
