

Bill was born November 7, 1926 in Horse Cave, KY. Bill was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church, a graduate of Bowling Green Business University with Bachelors in Education and a Master's in Administration from WKU. He taught business and distributive education for 17 years in the Edmonds School District and became Administrator and Supervisor of Vocational Education for 17 more years where he opened the vocational education programs of horticulture, auto engine rebuild, nurse's training, cosmetology, carpentry where the students built a house for Lynnwood Rotary and the money was circulated back to buy supplies for the next year's house and all the businesses and distributive education classes. He opened the department and did all this in all five district high schools. He was instrumental in the opening of Sno Isle School Center for students who wanted to pursue vocational education in another field that was not offered in the high school.
Bill was active in the Edmonds Rotary for 40 years, Nile Shrine Clowns, and Jesters, and Kachina Club. He was circus director for 12 years and Pacific Northwest Clown Association President. He was a member Edmonds Lodge for 63 years, Seattle Scottish Rite, and a member of Nile Shrines.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Lottie Myers Moran Sr.; sister, Sallie Seidel; and brother, Harry Moran Jr.
Survivors are his wife of 45 years, Dellazine Miller; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great nephews; and many friends.
A service celebrating the Life of Bill will be 10 a.m. Friday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice or Shrine Hospital C/O Nile Shrine Center, 6601-244th, St. S.W.
