PFANNMOELLER, WILLIAM J. "POPPY," 86, of Louisville passed from this life on Sunday November 11, 2012 at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was a retired crane operator for the Louisville Sanitation Dept. a member of the American Legion Post 220 and an Army veteran of World War II and Korea. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Pfannmoeller. He is survived by his grandchildren, Morgan Boston and David Basham; and three great-grandchildren, Bailey, Braxton, and Tyus. A service to celebrate Mr. Pfannmoeller's life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.
