

He was born on April 3, 1929 in Louisville to the late Harold and Alice Thelma Quick. William served our country during the Korean War, while enlisted in the U.S. Army, was a KY Colonel and a Mason. He owned and operated Quick Flooring Company for 34 years, and worked for Joseph T. Griffin; decorating for the North American Convention and Farm Machinery Show at the fairgrounds.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his son in-law, Carroll Lang and grandson in-law, Wayne Harris.
Here to carry on his memory are his wife of 67 years, Helen Vetrice Sydnor Quick; children, Nancy Jo Quick Lang, William Harold Quick, Jr. and Beverly Ann Jones (Greg); grandchildren, Leslie Carol Lang Harris (Mark), Eric Michael Lang (Caylan ), Nicholas Ryan Jones (Kristen)Erin Elizabeth Jones Domek (Brason), Treasure Marie Quick and William Corey Quick; great grandchildren, Makayla Rae Harris, Addisyn Carol Meunier, Veronica Kristine Wilson (Dillon), Ainsley Marie Wilson, Montgomery Bric Lang, Mallery Brice Lang, Miana Brie Lang, Colleen Elizabeth Jones, Sophia Mae Domek, Brendan Carr, Braiden Wayne Quick, Alissa Marie Quick, Kirsten Lynn Quick, William Ethan Quick. Along with his sisters, Alice Hudson, Ruth Hunter, and brother, Beverly Thomas Quick.
Visitation will take place from 2-8pm Thursday, November 30th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. The service celebrating William’s life will be 2pm Friday, December 1st at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Healing Place or St. Luke’s Hospital in Nashville, TN.
