Bobby, War and Peace gave me the opportunity to meet many people from all over the world, I thank God for having granted me the honor of knowing you and being able to share, in addition to the game, stories about our lives, our families, our jobs. Ours was and is a sincere and special friendship, because I have never had the opportunity to know you except virtually. Your kindness, your honesty, your loyalty reached everyone even through the screen. You were an angel and the Lord God called you to his table. I am honored to have shared a part of our journey together and my heart is shattered. Requiescat in peace, brother, your SKS family will never forget you. I met Bob about 20 years ago through a friend of Bob's that I was dating at the time. He was such a kind man and left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was a mentor to my son Cortland who really loved and cherished the friendship he had with Bob. We are all shocked at his untimely passing and our hearts and thoughts go out to Bob's children and his wife and all of his Law Partners...Rest peacefully Bob and know that you were loved in this lifetime.

Bobby I didn’t know you but I feel like you were a long lost relative or something I guess. I knew you but we never really talked, yet I feel a huge loss. I played a online game with you called War and Peace and we were in the alliance sks. You were on everyday and then all of a sudden you didn’t show up for a couple days and after the 3rd day everyone got real  worried.  Well 8 days later we were still wondering and someone mentioned about looking you up, a guy from Italy. They knew you had a law firm and  knew your full name. I said, “ well look him up, let’s call him!!” This felt not good but we had to know. This Italian guy, Fabio found your work number and I jumped at the chance to call you and find out what’s going on. I cried terribly when I was told what happened. We’re all a little better off knowing you Bobby even though we didn’t know you. Peace and see you again one day online my friend. 

Dear Bob, you needn't have raced to the finish line. You could've just lounged along the way, grinning at your fans in the stands and taking your sweet time. The world would have been happier with you in it and it certainly would have been more fair and even handed. Ever the advocate for the injured worker, your persistence and hard work elevated your status in the eyes of your colleagues and competitors. If only the good die young, I'd say your early departure is evidence that you were, indeed, a treasure.

I've known Bobby since our high school days. We also associated with each other during our college days at the University of Wyoming.  He had a remarkable sense of humor. He will be missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

Bob and I worked together for more than two decades.  We laughed, we yelled and we made up 100 times a week.  I joked that we were like an old married couple that only stayed together for our kids (the clients). But the truth is, in many ways, we made a great team.  We saw each other through so many personal and professional changes.

Bob was a giant kid in a lot of ways, sporting a devilish grin while cracking jokes, playing practical jokes and torturing his staff with obscure history, sports and music trivia questions.  He sang, off key, with reckless abandon to the songs he coveted.  He loved to make everyone laugh, always ready with a witty comeback or an insanely funny, dead pan, statement.

Bob cared immensely for the people around him which he showed through his incredible generosity.  He prided himself on taking care of his family through thick and thin, he was truly the glue that bonded them together through all their differences.  He loved being able to do that.  Being their rock.

I have been transitioning out of my role in his office and the last thing Bob said to me was that he was happy that I found love and a new path in life but that he missed me.  And all I can feel and say at this moment is that the feeling is mutual, I miss you too Bob.  I miss you so much.  I will never forget you, you've touched my life in so many ways.

I am forever grateful for the kind hearted person you were. I was really looking forward to coming back and starting this new chapter with you at your firm, but God had other plans. In all my years, I have never known a boss, quite like you! You were one-of-a-kind! A kind, generous and beautiful soul, underneath a hard and sometimes scary, exterior. Thank you for everything,  from the bottom of my heart!  
I will see you again, my boss, my friend. 

Bob was more than an excellent attorney he was also what I considered my best friend he will be greatly missed He has helped me so much over the last 20 years personally and as an attorney

I worked for Bob for a few years and am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Bob was extremely compassionate and caring and was always willing to help someone in need. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our son-in-law.  
Bob was a kind and generous person who would never turn down anyone in need.   
He took care of his family, and I believe he helped more people than we'll ever know.  
He will be greatly missed by the Langston family, and by so many that have been touched by his presence in their lives.  
May he rest in peace.

Bob was a great man and excellent lawyer.  We worked together on quite a few of his cases over the year.  Many laughs, many jokes, good food and spirits.  Going to miss this guy.

Bob was a great son in-law . He was very kind and generous person who helped everyone he came in contact with . He will be missed .

Bob was the kindest, most caring, and giving man. He was always helping others and taking on their burdens as his own. Many are going to miss his broad shoulders that we all leaned on. He was my Nephew through marriage and I loved him and I am saddened by his passing and will miss him.   

Bob was a great help to me not only as my lawyer but as a friend and part of my “extended family”.    He just was a great guy.

Bob was an exceptional mentor and friend. We will miss him dearly. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about some form of advice he gave me or joke he would crack. He was an incredibly kind person and left a positive indelible mark on my life and legal practice. Our families thoughts and prayers are with the Ring family. He was a wonderful father that loved his kids more than anything in the world. He left a wonderful legacy and the memories we have of him will always be a part of our lives.
