Darrell worked as an auto mechanic for years. He enjoyed fishing especially on the days his daughter would join him and they would pray and talk about God's message. Christ was very important to Darrell; he was baptized days before his passing and was looking forward to going home to be with his Lord.
In addition to his parents, surviving are his daughter, Kimberly Renae Waggoner; granddaughters, Brittni and Courtni; half-sister, Dallas; half-brother, Jimmy and his children; special friends, Lilly Mae and Travis and other family members in Ohio.
