

David Wayne Stewart was born on July 11, 1954 in Baytown, Texas to Ivan and Ada Stewart. In addition to the 6 children his father Ivan had previously, 6 more children were born to David’s parents and David was their second child together. As a young boy, David accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and spent time forming bonds with his siblings, cousins and family friends in Colorado, Louisiana and Texas.
David attended Carver High School in Baytown, Texas. After finishing school David worked for many years as a process technician. David met Alice, they married and gave birth to daughters Alicia Davette in 1978 and Ebony Nicole in 1982. David had a third daughter, Ada Davette in 1986. David later became an ordained minister and pursued studies in Information Technology where he spent the latter part of his career.
David moved to Denver, Colorado where he worked in Information Technology and met his beloved partner, Megan. David settled into life in Colorado where he loved playing the drums, riding his Harley-Davidson, woodworking, cooking in the kitchen with Megan and watching Marvel movies with his grandson Zachary.
David was preceded in death by his parents Ivan and Ada Stewart, sister Margaret Stewart and brother Ivan Stewart, Jr.
David leaves behind his daughters, Alicia Thomas (Bobby), Ebony Stewart, Ada Stewart; grandsons Kei’Tryn Stewart-White, Casanova Stewart-Cartwright and Zachary Thomas; sister Arlene Stewart Session; sister Carrol Stewart, Micheal Stewart (Patricia), sister Bernadine Haggerty, sister Willadene Dudly (Graig), sister Pamela Prophet, brother Leroy Stewart (Emma), sister Ernestine Dabney, sister Martha Oubre (Shelton) and brother Issac Stewart (Cherry), along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A funeral service for David will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Allnutt Funeral Service, 2100 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, CO 80538.
