James E. Fogarty, known to most as Jim – a long-time resident of Loveland, CO, passed away peacefully July 20, 2024 at 5:50 AM in the ICU at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. He was born April 2, 1946 in Pueblo, CO. At a young age, his family moved to Loveland from Estes Park and Jim graduated from Loveland High School and remained in Loveland for the rest of his life. He had many jobs during his lifetime in Loveland including Willard Battery, Woodward Governor; North Lincoln Car Wash, and Loveland Security and then had his own security business in addition to various mechanics work. He will be fondly remembered as a “Jim of all Trades” and “Master of Almost Every One of Them”.
He was a handyman and mechanic for friends, neighbors and his home churches, LaPorte Outreach Ministries, Inc. (Fort Collins) since 2001, being the very first soundman and media technician. Prior to Laporte Outreach Ministries he was an active member of, and sound person to, Message of Life Ministries in Loveland. Jim was very active in his church bodies, loving the Lord and His people and serving in any way he could.
Jim is survived by his church family and lifelong friends and was a good example of a productive citizen and responsible man. He will always be loved and thought of fondly and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held at Laporte Outreach Ministries in Fort Collins. Details are forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome to the American Cancer Society, or to LaPorte Outreach Ministries, where Jim served his community and the Lord for more than 20 years. Until we meet again, Jim……………………….
