Kathleen Margaret Roon

Kathleen Margaret Roon, a devoted, generous, and adventurous woman, passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 72. She was born on January 31, 1954, in Herlong, California, and was raised in Colorado.

Kathleen attended Thomas Jefferson High School and later, after raising her two wonderful children, went on to further her education at Front Range Community College. Her life was marked by a dedication to learning and a deep appreciation for quilting, science, nature, botany, coffee, and the mysteries of the universe.

On May 31, 1975, Kathleen married Steven Roon, embarking on a 51-year journey of love and companionship. As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she leaves behind a family who cherished her deeply. She is survived by her husband, Steven; her daughter, Marissa Roon (Dustin Cumrine) and son Kris Roon (Stephanie Groom); her sister, Diane Hall; and her brothers, Robert, Richard, and James McCready.

Kathleen's legacy extends to her beloved grandchildren, Stevie and Samantha Cumrine, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored her.

A Celebration of Life for Kathleen will be held on February 18, 2026, at 11:00 am at Allnutt Funeral Service, Hunter Chapel, located at 2100 North Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, Colorado. All guests are invited to a reception following the service in the Hunter Hospitality Room.

Kathleen's warmth and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
