Larry Dale Thorbjornson

Larry Dale Thorbjornson, 72, of Greeley, CO, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025 at UCHealth Greeley Hospital. Larry was born on March 27, 1953 in Denver, CO to Leonard "Torgy" and Elaine "Pam" Pamela (Johnson) Thorbjornson.

Larry was raised in Denver and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. He went on to study at UCCS and CSU. Larry owned his own structural construction inspection company and was a part of many large projects, such as DIA. After his retirement, Larry enjoyed various hobbies. He made car shopping a hobby and was always showing up with a new vehicle. Larry loved gaming, bowled on a league for some years, loved Halloween with dressing up and decorating. His most recent hobby was making art in various mediums and he was learning and working with watercolors. He also loved to collect unique items, as well as medieval weaponry.

Larry is survived by his step-sisters, Marlena Derr of Ft. Collins, CO and Tracy Hall of Eaton, CO; step-brother, Mark Rice of Red Feather Lakes, CO; his in-laws, Tami Rice, Susan McCarthy-Rice, Gary Derr and Keith Hall and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Torgy and Pam Thorbjornson; step-mother, Jeannine Thorbjornson and step-brother, Michael Rice.

A visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025 followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. both at Allnutt Funeral Service-Hunter Chapel, 2100 North Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, CO. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO.
