Laura Kate Guill, 77, of Fort Collins, CO, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 10, 2025 following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born on April 2, 1948 in Kentucky to Thomas Boone and Alla Mae (Ferguson) Guill.
Laura was the seventh child in her family of ten children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Thomas E. Guill and sisters, Marcella "Marci" Beaudoin and Joyce Reinders.
She is survived by her son, David Scott Guill; sisters, Marilyn Hughes, Carolyn Slater, Floella Gustafson and Patricia Kauffman; brothers, Ben Guill and Bob Guill and numerous nieces and nephews.
Laura loved cooking and had an extensive library of cookbooks. She worked at Wal-Mart for several years and was well liked and respected by her fellow workers. For many years, she shared a home with her sister, Marci and her son, Scott.
