Phylis L. Dahl

Phylis was born on October 9, 1926, the oldest daughter to Naomi & Wesley Fong, and grew up in Elwood, NE. In 1946, Phylis married Dale Marts and delivered their first daughter, Connie Dale in 1947, and their second daughter, Cathi LaRae in 1948.

Phylis enjoyed her roles as wife, mother, and homemaker. Family meant the world to her. She worked briefly at Arby's when her daughters enrolled in grade school. She loved family vacations, taking trips to the mountains with her sister in their golden years, collecting turtles, putting puzzles together, playing Bingo, and especially going dancing! Her dance card was always full.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Doyle, Duane, Lyle, and Brian, daughter Connie Dale, and two nephews, Jeffrey & Lonnie Fong. Phylis is survived by her sister, Leah Stitzel, daughter Cathi (Randy) Richardson, two grandchildren, two great-grandsons, 15 nieces and nephews, 41 great-nieces & nephews, and a plethora of great-great-nieces & nephews.

Services will be held for Phylis on Friday, July 26th, 2024 at Allnutt Funeral Service – Hunter Chapel in Loveland. Those that wish to view and pay their final respects may do so beginning at 10:30am. A Celebration of Life will take place at 11am. Following her services, Phylis will be laid to eternal rest at Loveland Burial Park.
