Earl James Barker

A visitation will be held May 11, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Jones & Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel, 16140 Main Street, Lower Lake, CA 95457. Funeral services & burial will be held at 12:00 PM on May 12, 2017, at Lower Lake Cemetery.

Earl J Barker was born in Vallejo, CA on December 30, 1939 to Oliver Henry Barker & Bessie Louise (Obrien) Barker. He attended school in Middletown and was a veteran of Vietnam War, were he served in the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge on Sept 30, 1968. He was also involved with the American Foreign Legion and worked as a mechanic for thirty years. Earl was proud of his children and grandchildren, loved life, and he will be missed by all.

Earl is survived by his sons Ronald Brauner and David Altegra , three brothers; Will Barker, Don Barker and Jack Barker, three sisters; Louise Barker, Shirley Barker and Laura Barker. Four grandchildren; Daniel Brauner, Zackary Brauner, Hannah Brauner, and Jessica Alegra one step-granddaughter Christian Faiia, and a step-great-grandson, Easton Faiia.

Earl’s family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Saint Helena Hospital for the care of their father, grandfather, and brother during his last days.
