

Grace had lived in Oakland, San Francisco, Hayward, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, and lived in Clearlake for the last 28 years. She resided at the Olympic Villa Housing Complex for 19 years where she had many friends and acquaintances.
Grace was married to Lawrence Bala, her husband of 47 years, who died in 1992. Their two sons, Larry Bala and Victor Bala, died in 2007. The raised four children and she is survived by her two daughters, Christine Bernadette Hauge of Santa Rosa, and Lydia Pogue of Clearlake, and Grace’s sister Carmen Bala of Napa. She will be missed by her 8 grandchildren, Renee, Leeanna, Curtis, Lynnette, Ryan, Helene, Marrissa, and Destiny. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren and will be remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Grace will be missed by family, as well as residents in this community who saw and appreciated Grace as a very positive, joyful, giving, talented person.
