Aileen Miller, 83, of Lubbock, passed into the waiting arms of her Lord and Savior on July 21, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held at LakeRidge Baptist Church, 4601 82nd, Lubbock, at 10:00 am on July 25, 2014. Aileen was born May 2, 1931 in Knoxville, TN to Henry Lee and Lottie Mae Hutchison, and was the youngest of 7 siblings. Mrs. Miller gave her life to Jesus Christ at a young age in a tent revival in Knoxville. She married Herman Floyd Miller on July 2, 1949, and together they reared 4 children who followed their Christian example.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and all her siblings.
Those left to remember her are three sons, Wayne Miller of Cypress, TX, Gary Miller and wife Karen, of Germantown, TN, Roger Miller and wife Rhonda of Benton, KY; daughter, Sheila Williams and husband Wayne of Burleson, TX; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 W. 19th, Lubbock.
