Augustin Lopez Jr.

Augustin Lopez Jr. 72 passed away Sunday , May 31st, 2015, in Lubbock. He was married to Linda Gomez of Lamesa, TX in 1971. After 37 years of marriage she preceded him in death in 2008. Augustin and Linda had 5 children: Lorreta Gonzales and husband, Fidencio (preceded both parents in death), Lyna Lopez, Augustine Lopez, III and wife, and Laundeen Lopez all of Lubbock. Also, he has 8 grandchildren, Harley Reyes and wife, Soleada Lopez, Isabel Linda-Antonia Lopez, Augustine Jaylan Lopez IV, Antonio Gonzales III, John Hayden Lopez, Nicholas Ethan Gonzales, and Madeline Tovar.

In 2009, Augustin remarried to Kim Srang Lopez. He was third to the oldest. Anita Lopez (preceded in death), Dorothy Lopez and husband of McAllen, TX, Gloria Faz and husband of Sudan, TX, Mary Rangel and husband of Lubbock, TX, Fidencio Lopez (preceded in death), Janie Lopez of Wolfforth, TX, Marcos Lopez of Slaton, TX, Raymond Lopez (preceded in death), Clara Myers and husband of Evans, CO, and Susie Lopez of Lubbock, TX, and Guadalupe Lopez of Evans, CO, and Cleo Lopez of Slaton, TX.

Augustin was always a good samaritan, full of kindness, compassion and generosity. He loved to travel to different parts of the country and loved to garden.

Augustin Lopez will be undeniably missed as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
