Jean was born on June 30th, 1934 to Ruby and C.W. Parker, in Rio Vista, Texas.
On August 6th, 1949, Jean married the love of her life, Gene "Buddy" Gordon Jr. They went on to spend 52 beautiful years together until his passing in 2001.
Jean was a homemaker and seamstress, making delicious homemade meals and sewing beautiful clothes for her daughter and sons.
Jean enjoyed spending time with her family at their home at White River. They spent their days on the water, boating and enjoying the scenery and eachother's company.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Gordon Jr. and her sons, Kenny, Ricky, and Gary Gordon.
Honorary Pallbearers will include; Shane Floyd (Grandson), Ashlyn Floyd (Great Granddaughter), Cooper Heller (Great Grandson), and Coy Heller (Great Grandson).
Her legacy continues through her daughter, Vicki Gordon; her four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as her sisters, Patsy Morris, Penny Parker, and Shirley Dennis.
A visitation will be held on December 20, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home with funeral services to follow after at 2:00 pm, and a graveside committal to follow immediately after.
