Barbara Lester

Barbara and her family moved to Lubbock over 55 years ago. She was a graduate of Monterrey High School class of 1977 and soon after went into the work field. She worked for 20 years at the Furr's distribution center, UMC/Lubbock County as a Med Tech for 10 years and for Duram Services for 6 years.

Barbara enjoyed being around her family and friends but she loved being a grandma the most. She is missed dearly by her family and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Tim Lester; son, Brian Lester and brother, Jackie D. North.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Cassie Lester; her sisters, Shurley Jones (Donnie), Sandra Gonzales, Mildred Scott, Linda Turner (Bobby); step-father, Bobby Whithers; four step brothers, and her favorite grandchildren, Christian Lester, Madyson Lester, and Jessica Lester.

A visitation & viewing for Barbara will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 at 2:30 PM.
