Moss Family, you are in our thoughts and know that Mr. Barry is smiling upon you, especially today. It's a beautiful time when the weather is just like he's among us, as we were honored to join Erin & Arnold, sitting to eat the delicious cooking he prepared. Erin-Samantha-Briane, make the best of today and hold dear all your beautiful memories of all the good times. Continue to share your stories with each other and cherish the legacy of your dear Dad's warm and loving personality that he instilled in each of you...

My dad was the best dad anyone could ever ask for. Sure he embarrassed me from time to time but that's what fathers do! It's coming back to that time of year again when I'll be missing him the most...Not a day goes by that I don't remember him and his hugs and scratchy kisses with his mustache. My dad gave me positivity, along with always trying to look at the glass half full. There was always an answer to every problem he came accross. He helped me fix my car, or anything that was broken. Even though it was wrapped in duct tape, it would work just like something brand new. He really was just like a big teddy-bear. My dad would do anything for me. He was the most generous, kind-hearted man. He gave me a love for all animals and I will forever miss discovering God's creatures with him. I look at all of your marathon medals and wish I could accomplish the things you did. Dad always told me about the time when he went to Tech and how he got a C in Chemistry and he was so proud of me for passing. It's so hard to go on without you, Dad. It's going to be even harder celebrating Thanksgiving without you. I will miss having my first legal drink with you once I turn 21 this year, and I'll miss you a lot if I ever get married and want to have my father-daughter dance with you. But I know Heaven needed you more, and I hope the angles know what they have. Because you are gold and missed by everyone here on earth. I love you, and I'll never have the right words to describe my dad. A simple man. I can't wait to see you again someday. I miss you so very much. Phil. 4:13 (Your verse) will forever remain in my heart, and I will keep on telling myself that "I can do all things." Love you Dad.

Barry... there are just no words.  

I just found out about your passing.  I enjoyed working with you at Flying Star and I look forward to meeting you in person in that great truck stop in the sky. Here is a blow of the truck horn in remembrance for a truly kind and funny guy.

Erin-Samantha-Briane, may you feel comforted in the awesome memories of Mr. Barry, who cherished the wonderful times with you. And the legacy he leaves behind is powerful in those photos Erin has shared with us. Be well and stay strong in your faith, that your Dad knows how very much each of you love and cherish him.

Barry and I worked at UMC laboratory for many years.  He was such a delightful man.  He brightened up everyone's day with his smiles,jokes and hugs. He will be missed. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.  Sheri Killion

I am so deeply saddened at your loss. I worked with Barry through the cancer center at UMC for several years.  He was a sweet,teddy bear of a man who always had a big smile on his face. He helped save many lives as a part of the BMT team at UMC.  May that and your wonderful memories of him bring you comfort during this difficult time.  God bless you!

Heartfelt condolences to Carl and Mary on the loss of your brother / brother-in-law.  Fifty-eight is way too young to be called home, but after reading the obituary, it looks like he packed some powerful and meaningful living into those 58 years.  Also, it's evident he had his priorities right.  Carl, we will pray for comfort for you and your family, for safe travel, and for happy memories.

I had the pleasure of meeting Barry through his amazing daughter Briane.  He was always smiling when I saw him and made me feel very welcomed.  He will be missed by all. My most sincere sympathies and condolences go out to the Moss family.

I knew Barry for many years at UMC. I met him in 1995 when I came to work at UMC. I loved his sense of humor and always enjoyed talking with him about running. He was a wonderful resource. I know you will miss him greatly. I am so sorry for your loss. Kanice Newton

Knew Barry when he was a student in MT training at Methodist Hospital and  worked with him latter in the UMC laboratory. Sorry to hear of his passing.

Barry was so proud of his daughters and granddaughter!  He loved to help other people and was the most generous person you could ever meet! He loved to help his mother and helped her at every opportunity. He loved the outdoors and loved to share his love with others. He was always inviting his nephews to go to the lake so he could share his water toys with them. He never met a stranger and made friends with anyone he met. He was loved by many and he will be greatly missed!
