Mom loved reading all her life. She received her first Kindle reader on her 80th birthday and kept it
with her at all times reading mystery and romance novels. She also liked to garden and had a “salsa
garden” every year making and canning some great hot sauce. She enjoyed cooking for the holidays
and her children and grandchildren's birthdays. She always made everyone their favorite birthday cake.
The family would like to thank Dena and her caring staff at the Beehive Homes for their loving and
compassionate care given to our mother while she resided there. Also, thanks to Carol and her staff at
the Sherick for making her stay there so pleasant. Mom always looked her best. We are grateful to
Alex for keeping her hair beautifully styled.
