Brandon Shane McDa

Brandon Shane McDaniel passed away on February 25, 2020 in Lubbock. We will celebrate his life of 46 years at 10 am Monday, March 2, 2020, at Trinity Fellowship Church Student Ministry Building, NW corner, 5000 Hollywood Road, Amarillo. Visitation will be 2 to 4 pm, Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Wolflin House, 11925 S. Western Street, Amarillo.  Friends are invited to share memories and expressions of sympathy for the family to cherish in the area below the obituary.Brandon was born September 2, 1973 in Perryton, Texas to Lloyd and Nelda McDaniel. He grew up on Grinnell Street with his younger brother, Chance and sister, Shayla. Brandon was involved in football, FFA and dirt track racing. He also helped run the family owned business “Surface Control”.  After graduation, Brandon moved to Arizona to attend Architecture School. After a year and the school unexpectedly closing, he moved back home to Perryton, but eventually moved to Lubbock to help Chance go to TTU. Brandon started his career at Discount Tire.  In the late 1990s, Brandon and Chance both moved to Amarillo still working at Discount Tire. In 1998, Brandon met TeeJay and eventually got married and had their daughter Breuklyn in 2000 followed by his son Taylor in 2003.  In 2001 Brandon started his first business...Mastercraft Fence Company. Over the next 15 years he started a total of 7 businesses that ranged from a Cheerleading company to a Screen-printing business and anything in between. In 2018, Brandon moved to Midland… simplified his life and went back to his love of the Tire Business… first working again at Discount Tire and finally ended up working as a Fleet Manager at All Star Chevrolet in Odessa.Survivors include his children, Breuklyn McDaniel and Taylor McDaniel; mother, Nelda McDaniel; siblings, Chance (Kaci) McDaniel, Shayla McDaniel and Gary (Rhonda) Murry; nieces, Ali (Matt) Gillispie and Raylee Murry; nephews, Branson, Barrett and Paxton McDaniel; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd McDaniel.
