Orville “ Buddy” Sims, 58, passed away Saturday September 27, 2014. He was born December 14, 1955 in Lubbock, the only child of Orville and Maurine (Farrar) Sims. Buddy worked many years for MHMR and was a lifetime member of Broadway Church of Christ.
Buddy is survived by many cousins and a host of friends. The family wishes to express their thanks to the many caregivers of Buddy over his lifetime.
A visitation will be held tonight September 29 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday September 30 at 1:00 pm in Resthaven Funeral Home’s Abbey Chapel with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
