Consuelo “Connie” Leyva 63 from Wolfforth, TX passed away peacefully Sunday July 24th 2022. Consuelo was a homemaker for many years, she was a very crafty person. She loved being outdoors She was a fan of dancing and enjoying music.
Connie was born on March 30th, 1959 to the late Juan and Cruz Navarrette. Along with her parents she is proceeded in death by a brother Marcos Navarrette, a sister Lupia Leyva.
She is survived by her family whom she loved dearly. Four sisters; Janie Medellin, Irene Soza, Rosalinda Navarrette, Teresa Godoy (Mauricio). Two Brothers; Daniel Navarette (Olivia), Manuel Navarette. A loving husband Pablo Leyva Sr. Sons; Johnny Vasquez Jr., Robert Trevino, one step son Pablo Leyva Jr. Daughters; Melissa Florez (Juan) Cynthia Maldanado (Rick), two step daughters; Amanda Leyva (Luis) Stephanie Leyva (Luis); 17 Grandchildren, 70 nieces and nephews
A visitation for Consuelo will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79407. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Resthavens' Abbey Chapel, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas. A graveside committal service will occur Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 5740 19th St., Lubbock, Texas.
