Cory Lane Scott was born on January 4, 1993 to Jeffrey and Pinkie Scott in Lubbock, Texas. Cory was a loving son, father, and friend. His laugh and personality were always so contagious. He was such a caring, kind-hearted and social person to be around. Cory will always be loved unconditionally and missed greatly.Survivors include his daughter, Avery Don Scott; father, Jeffrey Scott; sister, Kaylee Brooke Simmons and husband, Aaron; paternal grandparents, Charles and Alice Scott; maternal grandmother, Mark Belt.He was preceded in death by his mother, Pinkie Ann Scott; maternal grandfather, Don H. Belt.
