Gary, I don't know if you'll ever see this or not since so much time has passed, but I just found out today about her death.  I am in shock.  I saw her after her surgery, but never heard of her passing!  Mary and Arthur, please know how very sorry I am at the loss of your mother.  She spoke of you both often and especially that baby!!  I am certainly grieved.  Praying for you all!!

    We're so shocked and saddened to hear of the homegoing of your mother.  What fine and fun fellowship we enjoyed with her over the years.  In these last few years, Ann and Dianne shared some quilting passion and laughter, as always. Heaven is sweeter and laughter is greater there.  She was such a fine woman and mother and how she loved you all and was SO proud of you both and your families.  That grandson was such a joy to her.

Arthur & Mary, our families have been connected in many ways over the years.  We are so sorry to hear about your mother.  She taught our daughter Emily in second grade at Idalou.  For years after second grade, Emily would make a point to go back by and see her and give her a hug.  She was a wonderful teacher, and we always enjoyed visiiting with her. I spent many, many nights on the phone with Dianne during Jr. High and High School doing our math homework together.  She was always a delight with her wicked sense of humor and her keen mind.  We lost touch over the years but found each other again at the Centennial.  We shared the love of quilting during the last 2 ½ years and I can't believe we have lost her.  I'll bet she's up there getting all those other angels in line for some square dancing and quilting and camping and all those other fun things she loved to do.

I am thankful I got to visit with Dianne at the last class reunion.  She was my forever friend.  We stayed in touch through the years just as close as in high school.  Will miss you my dear friend!

Diane was a friend since childhood and into the years of Farming & raising our Families. I will always remember All the times we shared as friends. I will be out of town on the day of her Funeral but I will have her and her Family in my thoughts and prayers. Johnny and I will miss her and remember her and her laugh and smile. Mary, I hated to hear of your mom passing. I will never forget the graduation lunch in her backyard. Sweet, sweet lady!!

As we are still in shock, I am remembering the joy in Dianne's voice whenever I talked to her.  She had a heart as big as Texas, and we loved her just as much.  In the days ahead, I hope you all find peace and comfort in your precious memories.
