Dolores Diaz “Loly” 69, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 in Lubbock. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 in the Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Columbarium. Dolores was born October 29, 1944 to Antonio and Virginia (Vicente) Diaz in Cayey, Puerto Rico. She is survived by a son, Carlos E Cortes of San Juan, Puerto Rico; daughter, Blenda Cortes of Lubbock; grandchildren, Gabriel Cortes, Saul Rodriguez, Cristian Rodriguez, Sergio Rodriguez, and Paola Rodriguez; sisters, Carmen Diaz, Gladys Diaz and Maria Socorro Diaz; brothers, Cristino Diaz, Rafael Diaz and Max Diaz. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.
