Doris June Lowrey, age 92, passed away on December 29, 2015 in Lubbock. She was born in Rule Texas to the late Lee Corzine and Thurl Cook Corzine. She married Marlin Willard “Bunt” Lowrey May 1, 1943. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2006. She was also preceded in death by three sisters; Mary Hessler, Betty Woodward and Dahlia Gay Gideon, one brother; Jackie Corzine and a foster son; Wayne Turman.
Doris is survived by a son; Jerry (Doris) Lowrey of Ruidoso Downs, NM, and two daughters; Marsha (Dennis) Hilliard of Lake Kemp, TX and Wanda (Rusty) DeLoach of Lubbock, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-Grandchildren.
A Committal Service will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Resthaven’s Mausoleum Chapel with a Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Broadway Church of Christ.
