Dorothy Marie Womack

Dorothy Marie Womack went to be with the Lord April 4, 2013 in Clovis, NM. She was born in Hale Center, TX on July 25, 1930 to Wendell and Lucille McKay. She was a devoted wife, mother, grand-mother, and great grandmother and especially loved children and animals. She was dedicated to her church, her work at Pioneer Printing for nearly 50 years, and to Exodus Prison Ministry.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Miriam Pearce and son-in-law Dan of Clovis, NM; daughter-in-law Betty Wom-ack of Lubbock; brother-in-law Harold Womack and wife Joann of McKinney, TX; seven grandchildren, Carrie Huber, Ben, Andy, and Abi Pearce, Kevin, and Dennis Womack, and Janet Muller. She was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm Womack; son, M Wayne Womack; sisters Francis Nivens, and Ruth Johnson.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to Exodus Prison Ministry PO Box 6363 (4243 34th) Lub-bock, TX 79493.

Visitation will be at Resthaven April 5, 2013 from 5 to 7 PM.

Services will be at Oakwood Baptist Church, 60th St and Avenue U in Lubbock, 10 AM Saturday April 6, 2013 with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Pastor Marcus Murphy will be officiating.
