He attended First United Methodist Church in Littlefield, TX. Elodio married the love of his life, Teresa Savala on April 1, 1981 in Littlefield, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dominga Garcia, Etersa Chavarria, and Hermelinda Longoria; brothers, Pablo Villanueva, Leo Villanueva, Juvencio Villanueva, Luis Villanueva and Alfonso Villanueva.
Elodio is survived by his wife, Teresa Villanueva, Lulu II and Casper; sisters, Maria Angelita Patino, Margarita Martinez and Andrea Salazar; brother, Gregorio Villanueva and other relatives.
Visitation will be held at Hammons Funeral Home Chapel, 503 E. 5th Street in Littlefield, TX from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2020 with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 6, 2020 at First United Methodist Church, 700 W. 14th in Littlefield. Interment will follow in Littlefield Memorial Park.
