Frances Longoria

Our Dear Mother Frances Calderon Longoria sadly passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the age of 84. She was a wonderful person who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community. She ran a Home Daycare Center for over 40 years in which she dedicated so much love and care to many families.

She was born in Presidio, Texas in 1939 to Antonio Calderon and Anita Carnero Calderon. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters named Ricardo Calderon, Concepcion Montes, Alfonso Calderon, Mauro Calderon, Maria Rodriguez, Antonio Calderon.

She is survived by sister, Paula Chavez and sister, Oralia Salazar. Also survived by three children: Carlos and wife Melba of Brownsville, Amada “Amy” and husband Edwardo Garcia of Crosbyton and Maricruz Longoria and husband Shelby Snodgrass of San Antonio; 8 grandchildren; Carlos Vicente Longoria, Angelica Celeste Longoria, Roman Gabriel Longoria,Eduardo Enrique Garcia, Alejandro M. Garcia,Victoria Lucia Garcia,Donovan Zane Snodgrass,Esme Francisca Snodgrass and 4 Great-grandchildren; Alexia Rose Garcia, Alexia Rose Garcia Cesar Jesus Avila-Velasquez, Joanna Lucia Saavadra, and Carlos Manuel Longoria VI
