Visitation for Guy Allen Britnell, Sr. will be held Monday, October 8, 2012, from 5 pm until 7 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 West 19th Street, Lubbock, TX 79407. Services will be on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 1 pm, in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock.
Guy died on September 28, 2012, in Land O Lakes, FL. He was born January 22, 1931.
He married Wanda Thomas on Nov. 7, 1952. Together they had five children.
Guy was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda, and sons Charles Britnell, and William Britnell.
Survivors include his daughter, Joy Marshall of Lubbock, TX; two sons, Jim Britnell, of Pensacola, FL, and Guy Britnell, Jr., of Salem, Ore; 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
