Hazel Lee Ammons

Hazel Lee Ammons, 80, of Lubbock went home to be with her Lord and her husband of 30 years, Grady M. Ammons on November 1, 2018. Mrs. Ammons was a member and faithful servant of Southcrest Baptist Church and was born on September 19, 1938 in Crosbyton, Texas.

She loved spending time with her family and was always preparing their favorite meal or dessert. Mrs. Ammons enjoyed life and taught her family how to love and support each other just as she did. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and playing with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Ammons is survived by her two sons and daughter, Greg Ammons (Paula), Chris Ammons (Heather) and Pam Roddy; her sister, Pat Posey; her grandchildren, Brittany Good (Chris), Garrett Ammons, Tabitha Morales (Landy), Krista Ammons, Ashley Ammons, Micah Roddy (Amy) and Hannah Roddy; her great-grandchildren, Jackson Morales and Emma Roddy along with numerous family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 3:00-5:00pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10:00am at Southcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Micah Roddy officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the children’s ministry at Southcrest Baptist Church.
