Retiring from Navy life in 1970.., Margaret, her husband and children moved to Lubbock, Texas. Hand in hand, Margaret and Fred reentered college life at Texas Tech University. Margaret graduated from Tech in the Class of 1973…,first teaching all level Art and finally finding her happy place as a 4th grade teacher at Casey Elementary and North Ridge Elementary…,then retiring in the 1990’s to spend quality time with “The Best Husband and Father in the World”.
An artist, a teacher, an explorer and “The Best Wife and Mother in the World” she was always ready for an adventure.., flying in Biplanes, investigating the wonders of the Southwest, diving the Caribbean, and meandering along the back roads of Ireland.
At the grand age of 87 Margaret has embarked on her final adventure, joining her beloved husband on an expedition to the Undiscovered Country. Bon Voyage.
