Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM. Friday, March 2, 2018 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Jeanette was born to Dave and Beaulah (Wright) Sattler on May 8, 1928 in Church Point, LA where she was raised.
She married Clyde E. Spears on Jan. 4, 1947 in Chalmette, LA. They settled in Lubbock, TX in early 1950 where she was a devoted wife and loving mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde E. Spears after celebrating 60 years of marriage on Jan. 25, 2007, son David Lee Spears, brothers: John A. Sattler of Opelousas, LA., Foster Sattler of Palm Desert, CA., and David Sattler, Jr of Churchpoint, LA.
She is survived by sons Michael Raymond Spears of Granbury, TX John Everette Spears of Plano, TX daughter, Carolyn Ann Cooper of Crockett, TX ; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sisters, Jenora Lyons of Beaverton, Oregon, Barbara Rothenberg of Mountain View, CA., Bernice Ann Broussard of Port Arthur, TX and many friends and extend family.
